All I am saying is just communicate more. Heck, I have seen one person dev games where the dev has responded unexpectedly fast and not just to my inquiries. I have helped people test games before and offered input and have gotten feedback from devs surprisingly fast. So I am a pretty patient person for these types of things and I am just going to leave this on my wishlist indefinitely, but I will say that there is really bad communication about the game on the steam platform, which I would think be a pretty important area of release for this game. Obviously it exists in some form, but after half a decade we get a vertical slice (that is not a beta) and no updates in 5 months. I wouldn't call this vaporware, but there is basically nothing to show for 5 years of work that we have seen. This company has learned absolutely nothing over the past five years and there is no reason at all to think they ever will. Last one was in FEBRUARY (minus some small stuff in the comments). They are obligated under their Kickstarter agreement to provide transparent and timely updates. It makes no sense to speculate about something benign like that when you can just ask for more information about the game itself. If the publisher put them under NDA, then that's what they did. I agree that communication about progress could be better, but I also do understand the idea that continuing to post bits of information can feel like it's taking time away from what they're actually trying to do: get a game ready for release. If you want to see things, maybe ask the team? They've been working on this for a few years now, and may just be more interested in getting the finished product out there than trying to keep teasing people with snippets of the unfinished game. Different companies do things different ways. So there is no "strategic" reason to keep it under wraps. Its not like this game will be a competitor to any other game out there, a publisher would just want it to pad their portfolio. Unless they feel it might not see the light of day, and therefore would not want to announce it and then have to retract it.
